Terms of Service · Results and Risk Disclaimer

The short version

  • We collect only what we need to deliver your service: business details, contact details and the access you grant us.
  • We never sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
  • We never see or store your card details. Payments run through PayPal or on-chain.
  • Your domain, hosting, website and Google Business Profile are registered in your name and stay yours.
  • Ask us to delete your data or revoke our access at any time and we will do it, usually the same day.

1. Who we are

Rank Page Online (“we”, “us”) operates rankpage.online and provides local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization and website design services to businesses internationally. Rank Page Online is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact rankpageonline@gmail.com.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what is needed to quote for, deliver and support a service:

  • Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, services, opening hours, service areas and any content, images or logins you send us for the work.
  • Audit request forms: the business name, city, website address and email address you enter, used only to prepare and send your free audit.
  • Account access you grant: manager access to your Google Business Profile, and where applicable access to hosting, domain or website accounts. This is used solely to perform the agreed work.
  • Payment information: confirmation that a payment was made, along with the name and email attached to it. We do not receive, process or store card numbers or bank details. PayPal handles card payments under its own privacy policy. Crypto payments are visible only as an on-chain transaction.
  • Technical information: standard website analytics such as pages viewed, approximate country, device type, referring source and time on page, collected in aggregate.
  • Communications: emails and Messenger conversations, kept as a record of what was agreed.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and our services are offered to businesses, not consumers.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To deliver the service you bought: performance of a contract.
  • To answer enquiries and provide free audits: your request, and our legitimate interest in responding.
  • To provide support during the 90-day period: performance of a contract.
  • To keep records of payments and agreements: legal obligation, and legitimate interest in resolving disputes.
  • To improve the website and our services: legitimate interest, using aggregate data only.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to receive them.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, trade or license your data to anyone. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to deliver your project:

  • Domain registrars and hosting providers, to register and configure assets in your name.
  • Google, through the Business Profile tools you grant us access to.
  • Payment processors: PayPal, which receives payment data directly from you, not from us.
  • Form processing: FormSubmit, which relays audit request forms from this website to our inbox.
  • Email and messaging providers used to correspond with you, including Google (Gmail) and Meta (Messenger).
  • Web fonts: this website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when a page loads.

We may disclose information where required by law, court order or a valid request from a competent authority.

5. International transfers

We work with clients worldwide, and the providers listed above may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data originates in the UK, EEA or another region with transfer restrictions, we rely on the providers’ own approved transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and free audits that do not become projects: deleted within 12 months.
  • Client project files and correspondence: retained for 24 months after completion, so we can help if something breaks or you return.
  • Payment and invoice records: retained as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Access credentials: removed as soon as the work and support period end, or immediately on request.

7. Your rights

Wherever you are based, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you;
  • provide a copy of it in a portable format;
  • correct anything inaccurate;
  • delete it, where we are not required to keep it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • withdraw consent, where consent was the basis.

Email rankpageonline@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days, usually far sooner. There is no charge. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California you have the additional rights described under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know and delete. Since we do not sell data, there is nothing to opt out of.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors find and use the pages. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

9. Security

We use reputable providers, limit account access to what a task requires, and remove access once work is complete. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected clients promptly if a breach involving their data occurs.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated by email.
