Domain, hosting and SSL
Bought and configured as part of the order and registered in your name. Included for the first year. HTTPS from day one.
Mobile-first design
Designed for the phone first, because that is where most local searches happen. Custom layout around your services, not a stock template.
Page speed
Light pages, compressed images in modern formats and no unnecessary scripts, built with Core Web Vitals in mind.
Conversion-focused layout
Phone, booking or quote request visible on every page. A visitor should never have to hunt for how to contact you.
Service pages
One page per service you want to be found for, each answering what a customer needs to know before calling.
90 days of updates
Content changes, edits and fixes for three months after launch at no extra charge.
On-page SEO from the first draft
On-page SEO is how each page tells search engines what it is about. We map keywords to pages first, so two pages never compete for the same search, then write:
- SEO titles and meta descriptions, unique to each page and written to be clicked
- One H1 per page and a clean H2 and H3 structure beneath it
- Image alt text that describes the image
- Internal links with descriptive anchor text, so every important page can be reached from another
- Copy written for search intent: what the service is, who it is for, where you provide it and what it costs or how to get a quote
The approach follows Google’s SEO starter guide. No hidden text, no keyword stuffing.
One page, one job
- boiler repair → /boiler-repair/
- emergency plumber → /emergency-plumber/
- bathroom fitting → /bathroom-fitting/
- areas we cover → /areas/
Example search patterns. We research the real phrases and volumes for your city before any work starts.
Technical SEO, handled
The parts you will never look at but Google always does.
Crawlable and indexable
Clean URLs, a logical page hierarchy, correct canonical tags and a robots.txt that blocks nothing it should not.
XML sitemap
Generated automatically, listing only the pages that should be indexed, and submitted to Google.
Schema markup
Structured data describing your business, services and FAQs in a form machines read without guessing. Only real details: we never invent reviews or ratings. See Google’s structured data introduction.
Mobile usability
Tap targets, font sizes and layouts checked across phone and tablet widths, with no sideways scrolling.
Google Search Console and sitemap setup
Google Search Console is Google’s free tool for seeing how your site performs in search. We set it up in your Google account, verify the property, submit the sitemap and check that the important pages are indexed.
During the 90 days we use it to watch which searches bring impressions and clicks, and whether any pages have indexing problems. After handover it stays with you. We also make sure the site meets the Bing Webmaster Guidelines, since Bing powers several other search and AI products.
Service pages and location pages
Service pages are the backbone of a local site. A page titled “Services” that lists eight things in bullet points gives Google nothing to rank. Eight pages, each explaining one service properly, give it eight chances to match a search.
Location pages are worth building when you serve a place in a real way: you have customers there, you can describe the work you do there, and the page would be useful to someone in that town. They are included in the bundle. What we will not build is one page copied dozens of times with the town name swapped. Google treats those as doorway pages under its spam policies, and they can drag down the rest of the site.
For businesses in a specific trade, see how this plays out on our industry pages.
Already have a website?
A rebuild is not always the answer. If you already have a site, send the address with the audit form and we will check:
- whether Google can crawl and index it
- how fast it loads on a phone, using PageSpeed Insights
- whether each service has a page, and what each page is trying to rank for
- titles, descriptions, headings and internal links
- schema, sitemap and Search Console status
Then we tell you plainly whether to fix or replace. Fixing usually means rewriting the on-page SEO, repairing speed and mobile issues, adding schema and building the pages that are missing.
- Technical and indexing audit
- Content and keyword audit
- Mobile and speed audit
- Internal-link audit
- Schema audit

SEO website design: common questions
What makes a website an SEO website?
Structure decided before design. Each service gets its own page with a keyword-mapped title, description and headings. Pages load quickly on a phone, use clean URLs, carry schema markup and link to each other sensibly. Our guide on SEO websites vs normal websites shows the difference side by side.
Do you include the domain and hosting?
Yes, for the first year, registered in your name so you own the accounts from the first day. After the first year, renewals are paid by you directly to the provider.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most sites launch within two to three weeks of us receiving your business details and content. It depends on the number of pages and how quickly materials arrive.
Can you improve my existing website instead of building a new one?
Yes. We audit it first, then rewrite the on-page SEO, fix speed and mobile problems, add schema and build any missing service or location pages. If the existing site cannot be rescued we will explain why before you spend anything.
Will the website rank on Google straight away?
No new site does. Google has to crawl, index and build trust in the pages, which commonly takes one to three months for local terms and longer in competitive markets. We set up Search Console and submit the sitemap so that process starts on launch day.
Who owns the website when it is finished?
You do. Domain, hosting and the site itself are in your name, and you receive every login at handover. We never hold a site to force a renewal.

Not sure whether you need a new site or a fix?
Tell us your business name and city. We reply by email with where your listing shows up today, what is missing from your profile and website, and the changes we would make first. No sales call, no card.
